i write lol, lmao, haha and use laughing emojis a lot. most of the time it's to indicate "this isn't totally serious" rather than "i am actually laughing out loud in real life" or "this is funny". i would say my most genuine one would be "hahahaha" or something along those lines, i tend to not overuse "hahahaha" (i do, however, overuse "haha"), or even better a keysmash like asjfsddg. it really does depend on who i am talking to, though. a keysmash doesn't have to mean that i'm laughing either, it's more "i'm dead" for any reason. so uh. basically. idk. i'm a fake binch i guess

I mix it up quite a lot. I use them all kind of interchangably. I do keyboard smashing if I'm really losing my mind from laughing.

lol lmao or a short haha
but I kinda add that to a lot of my texts, a genuine laugh would be more like 'omg hahahaha'

i mix it up a bit and it depends who i'm talking to but generally:
- HAHAHA if it's truly funny and i'm genuinely laughing. i think i do this more often when i'm talking to close friends
- LMAO if i let out a giggle or chuckle
- lol if it's not funny

Honestly all the above really

Lmaoooo 😂😭 and LOL are go-to's
Hahahahahahahaha has to be real funny
And xD is just used ironically (lmao)

keyboard smashing, lol, lmao, and/or laughing emojis! generally just a lot of spam lol

If something is actually funny, I'll write "hahaha omg" or something xD. If something didn't actually make me laugh but it's supposed to be mildly amusing, I go for "lol". I don't really use the cry laughing emoji much but sometimes it's appropriate.

I used either "hahaha" or a laughing emoji. Lol means to me more like, "oh okay" rather than actual laughing.

I actually type out "hahaha". This thread was kind of educational for me because I always imagined "lol" was used sarcastically or negatively these days!

I usually say lmao/lmfao/lmaooooo, lol, or use an emoji. I usually try to mix them up if I notice I'm using one of them too much. I also try to avoid saying "hahaha" because I feel like it makes me sound nervous or sarcastic.
