i reset i think 3 times
first because i didnt like my face (i had the same map as AIKA village ): )
second because i didnt like any of the maps rover showed me,
and i third because the map thing again.
i got my perfect town though. its basically a little sliver of land on the left that i have dubbed my property and no villagers are allowed to tresspass/ build houses there, and on the other side of the river is the rest of town. let me tell you i hate split beaches in this game and my town basically has one really long beach with 2 entrances, and a little tiny beach that i can only get to by swimming (i decorated it with flowers). i love it.

Hmm, 440 resets is something I know I can believe! I must have done even more for Wild World...at least more than 200 for sure.

Ok, what is your problem? Why do you keep taking jabs at me? This is like your third discouraging post in this thread towards me. I mean, it's not like I really care, because some people who have maps they are happy with, I personally would not keep. It's each to his own.
But, lol... From calling me psychotic, to telling me my map is bad... And for someone who "apologizes for any rudeness" (in your signature spoiler), you're a real douche bag...

That's a long walk to Re-Tail...Finally got my perfect town. Has oranges, which I'm not really a fan of, but it's O.K. Everything else is perfect.
If I knew how to upload a DS screenshot I totally would. XP
(And by the way, 440 resets is not a joke... I'm 100% not kidding.. I've been doing this since June 9th...)
So... anyone wanna let me visit their town to get my hair done and whatnot to celebrate?

River emptying south, centered tree, enough space next to retail to perfectly line it up with the cafe and the police station later on, only 1 pond, lots of free open space, a good spot actually not taken by a villager/rock, brown town station, circle grass, fruit that ISN'T pears or cherries (no h8), town tree next to town hall... perfect in my terms. However, some people are going to look at the map and laugh at me... It's perfect in MY eyes atleast XD
I'm not one who wants Re-Tail to be near the beach, I don't think it's fitting. I rather have it farther in the back. I'll take aesthetics over convenience because in the long run, after I have all the bells I need, I won't need to do any trips selling beetles, and my town will look how I want it to. Also, An extra few seconds running to Re-Tail is not really an issue for me haha
Haha, both our Rolf's are next to the TH xDRolf's house in mine is next to the town hall. i love him though
The only annoying thing about having a recent town (mines a week old) is everyone being so far ahead
Yeah, that's what sucks. It would have been fun to have our towns progressing along with everyone else's. But it's okay!

My Re-Tail is right next to the Town Plaza directly south from the train station and north from the beach and dock and finally is northwest slightly from my house.
All locations are about a few minutes walk.

Yeah this is what I think. I mean, 440? That's just...Honestly, I don't think it's worth it. Congrats on having the map you want?
First 2 days I reset 100~200 times. The other 200 resets were over a span of almost 2 months. XD I just got sick of it and either reset a few times a day, or sometimes didn't at all.
It was a real pain... =o= I don't even know if it was worth it at this point but whatever xD
