3DS is Breaking :(

Oh that's horrible :c The button that displayed the power on my DsLite snapped off so my dad glued it together for me and then I could no longer use the R button. On my Dsi the back buttons (L & R) were really faulty. I really hope nothing happens to my 3ds xl, I have a cover on mine but that's only because they didn't sell the colour I wanted in Australia. Good luck getting it repaired if you can! C:

Why did it start breaking? o: Did it fall from somewhere high or did it just start cracking on its own?

I've heard that XL are not as 'strong' as the normal size Ds. Looking at the quality it is made of doesn't surprise me :/
Good luck fixing that! :0

Ahhh, really? I guess I sort of thought that because the XL ones really looked thinner and therefore more delicate. I was planning on getting one since I was getting hand cramps drawing on miiverse with my small 3DS screen.

I guess if I do get one I'll just keep this old one just in case? Nintendo stuff are usually very durable though.

That's what I did, so I can do a temporary transfer to that one if this one starts having major damage. Nintendo's stuff WAS very durable. 3DSes break easily (in their own ways, but still break). The DS was also pretty fragile. But you could throw a Gameboy Adv. at a wall and it'll just get a scratch and be completely fine.

Naw, my DS lite was pretty tough. It's been dropped so many times and have actually been pulled apart that the top and bottom half separated, and it still played games. (Though with a bit of difficulty because the two halves don't connect anymore xD;)

My 3DS has been shipped in a huge box without anything to absorb shock, and has fallen at least twice, and it's still in perfect working condition. But I suppose it is a good idea to keep it as a back up in case my future XL breaks first. c:
