2nd town corrupted again. Give up?

I don't know why Sonata corrupted but it did. I've spent so much time, energy, and tbt on this town and villagers that I'm not even sure if it's worth playing anymore. I'd love to continue but I just don't know if I can bring myself to. All my dreamies are gone. Help? Encouragement? Should I just give up?

(I did consider having a cycle town to make some extra tbt. I've done it before so I'm familiar with it. Is that a good idea?)

A mayor who genuinely cares for them and their town. I don't have much tbt, but if you want to rebuild, all of them are yours. Just say the word if you need them. I will also order you anything from the catalog you want. Don't give up!

My advice to you is to maybe take a break for a while and like mayortash said focus on your other town for a bit. If you still don't feel like continuing a normal town making a cycling town would be a great way to earn more tbt, and if you're experienced in cycling then that's even better!

Twice indeed. I think I will rebuild after all. And I won't focus as much on dreamies, except for the ones I truly adored like Punchy and Fuschia. Thank you so much for your kind words! Oh my goodness, that's so amazing of you to offer! I have to decline though, I'd feel bad for taking all of your money...

I'd consider getting another copy of the game or something that might safeguard against your game corrupting if you are going to make Sonata 2.0; it would be really heartbreaking if it happened again.

Do you know what's the reason behind it corrupting all the time? (or why towns corrupt in general?) I'm paranoid now because I have one town on a cartridge!

It was. The first time it was because I accidentally popped the cartridge out while it was saving. This time, Idk. I did drop my DS while playing. When I reloaded ACNL it corrupted. Could that have been it? Sadly I cannot afford another one, I've bought three so far ;-;

Thanks! They usually corrupt from turning off the DS while the game saves or taking the game out while playing and things like that.

Since the game corrupted after you dropped your DS, that's probably what did it. I mean, I don't know for sure...

I think that was probably it. I definitely will! I won't even look at it! Lol! Thank you! I just now started my new town for the first time, we'll see how it goes.
