I can't use the QR code machine even though I already unlocked it like 2 months ago! Similarly Cyrus is asleep even though I have used him before as well?
cyrus will sometimes be sleeping sometimes not I believe. if your gate is open, your QR machine will be unavailable, as will other certain features in your game
it's happened to all of us at one point or another. there's no explanation of it in game, so we have no way of knowing why some things suddenly aren't working/available to us anymore
