1st Toy Day!!!!

this will be my 1st Toy Day in ACNL!! super excited.. ii have 2 questions though..

1) ive seen ppl say they were 'selling' Toy Day items? bht are we supposed to be buying the items ourselves, or is Jingle giving them to us in the Santa Bag??

2) will TT affect what my villagers asked for Toy Day? lets say ii need to go to the 23rd real quick, and then ii jump back to iRL time the 18th/19th, will my villagers have changed what they wanted for Toy Day, to where id need to go around asking again or will their requests stay the same?​

Question #1

You can buy Festive items or the Jingle set from Timmy and Tommy.

You need the Santa's outfit (hat, beard, coat, pants, and boots) to participate in Toy Day. This can be bought from the Able Sisters' and Kick's.

Toy Day items are rewards you get for completing Toy Day. This is the Festive Wreath (Completion of Toy Day) and Jingle Picture (Accurate Completion of Toy Day).

Question #2

I've jumped a couple days back and forth and it doesn't seem to affect what they want. I'd recommend not jumping to after Toy Day, though.

great tysm!!!! then im off to get my last dreamie!!!! someone is moving on the 21st, and ii found my last dreamie Elise and ii cant wait to get her! so ii wanted to speed it up abit bht if it was gonna cost me what they wanted ii was gonna just wait lol..

ii have everything ready for toy day, the suit and the list of what all my villagers want.. ii just wanted to double check ii didnt have to actually buy any thing bc then id be doing some last minute shopping for my villagers like ppl do irl for their families ahahahaha.. ii didnt want to mess up my 1st toy day! so ty for answering!

and oh yea, ii def. arent going over toy day.. if ii was gonna have to wait til like the 26th, ii def. wait! ty again.. happy holidays

Your villagers will give you two different clues if you talk to them enough. One is always a color and the other is the type of item they want (clothes, furniture, etc). I don't know anything about time travelling, but Dotty telling you she wants a red item doesn't mean that she's changed what she wants. She's just giving you an extra clue to help narrow it down even more.
