Yeah I agree that crowns are wayyy overpriced. I remember playing Wild World as a kid and finding it nearly impossible to get a crown on top of making house payments and everything, eventually my older brother gave me one since I wouldn't afford it. After that I expected the same price for the crowns on New Leaf; I ended up just getting one from a friend and buying another for tbt since I don't want to waste my bells for such an expensive hat!
it'd be nice if it came in different colours.
