16 Villager Cycle

Well, I messed up, and now Deirdre's gone and moved out. Yay. Fun.

I know what the 16 villager cycle is, but how do I go about it? Just carefully TT and make sure no one else moves out, and have 16 villagers move in and then out?

I also know that the most recent move in won't ping to move, so I assume I have to go about moving in and out two at a time, kind of?

Yes, that's correct. You have to be careful to not lose anyone (I can share the method I use for moving out villagers, which is very safe) and move out 16 villagers. The last move-in can ping, apparently, it's just very rare so I think it would be easier to move in and out two villagers at once like you've said.

I haven't done the cycle myself, though, just moved out some villagers.

What method do you use to move out villagers? I go forward and backwards by two days. <3
