16 villager cycle question

Sooo Sprinkle is a favorite of mine, and she asked to move out.. i let her, because her house was in a bad spot. I plan to have her move back in.

She went into the void, but I have cleared it since. Am I going to have to wait until 16 more villagers move? Or am I able to ask her to move in from someone else's town at any time?

You'll have to move in and out 16 different villagers before she appears and disappears in your main street. If you try to invite her before doing so, even if you go to a town where she's in boxes, the option "move to my town" will never appear.
If you scan her amiibo card yourself, though, you can invite her immediately.

You're welcome! If you time travel and are willing to lose 2-3 of your current villagers, the cycle is doable!
I've never done it myself though x)
