12-Grape Plate Question

I found a few places online that list the 12-Grape Plate as being a NA and EU holiday item and I was curious if this is correct. If it is what NA holiday gives it to you?

My guide says its obtainable from NA and Spanish games on the countdown

I was successful getting it on New Year's Eve (Countdown) by setting my language to Spanish- it also helps that I can read Spanish, since Isabelle will be speaking it when she gives it to you.

Changing my language is also the way I got Berliner, kind of off topic but felt like input ^^'

it's not available in the NA version, I got a sparkling cider during countdown;;

Remember, NA doesn't strictly mean the United States. It is a Spanish item that can be easily obtained by switching your 3DS language to Spanish. Be careful, though. You can only get one item per player, so if you already got the sparkling cider, you can't get any other items.
