10th villager?

i heard that the tenth villager doesn't appear as the first nine would, and that it's hard to get characters to move after the tenth comes.

i have nine villagers but i just saw that fang's house plot is in my town? i haven't visited anyone or invited him, so is that supposed to happen?

(sorry i'm uneducated in acnl lol..also there are prolly a lot of threads about this but i didn't wanna revive an old thread??)

Is there a chance you streetpassed someone?
You wouldn't have had to invite the villager or visit someone, if that is the case.

Do you live in an area where you are likely to StreetPass someone, and is it enabled for ACNL? You'd be surprised how far those 3DS can reach with StreetPass.

Here's how to to get a tenth villager:
-StreetPass
-Inviting a villager from another town
-From another town's void.
-Inviting a villager from your campsite.

If it wasn't a StreetPass then Fang might have moved in from someone's void.You said that you haven't visited anyone but did somebody visit you?
