10th villager curse

I got Tabby as 10th villager from wifi, and I got her to move out within a week of moving out another one before her.

I didn't introduce myself or anything. Completely ignored her. A week after someone moved out, she followed.

...though maybe I got lucky? 8U

I have had Gigi as 10th before in my old town. I introduced myself, ignored her, and she took more than 6 in-game MONTHS to move out. I've moved out so many villagers out by then. So, I was thinking, maybe it really is faster not to introduce yourself at all.

ah, no, see, the thing is - someone moved out before her, making her the ninth/not the last one to move it. if you get someone else to move out, you can definitely get the tenth to go. the problem i'm facing and that others are, as well, is that if there is no one else left to kick out, can the tenth villager leave? some have said yes, but a majority have said no. i don't know if it's the game copy or bad random luck, but from what i did, i still can't isolate it - i just know it's harder or near impossible for some of us.

oh, wait! so is gigi the absolute tenth villager? no one moved out before her and she took up the tenth slot? if she did leave after six months, maybe i should try the character creation trick & not even intro to rudy. :Oa

ok, i've practically given up hope on booting rudy, but here's more things i did that didn't work out.

i made a new character & intro'd them, then ignored rudy for three months. tting day by day, refusing anything to do with him when the others tried to involve him. everyone except him pinged to move, but they started asking less often, and sometimes 5-6 days would go by with no one moving. this has never happened to me playing normally ever. maybe rudy was supposed to leave, but just didn't? idkkk )':

i made a new character & didn't intro to rudy ( villagers still tried to include him, but i refused to interact ) : same results.

not sure what it is, but i can't get the tenth to move out. lucky were those players who could. o/ this is my last update unless i find out another method to test.

Hmm have you tried upping your friendship with Rudy while lowering your friendship with your other villagers by beating them with nets and failing to fulfill their requests? Or maybe starting a new character and befriend him like crazy?

Don't know if any of those work I'm just brain storming @_@. If anything... sacrifice

i can try to - but my other villagers have already given me their pics, so i can't beat them enough. XD i tried with kabuki, & he just visited me randomly in my house. D:

i can't sacrifice anyone else, though. )': my friends are already calling dibs on my neighbors since i might reset...again. \:

If someone is the 9th to move in (via adoption, and I'm at 9 villagers), is it possible to move her out without moving anyone else out first?

Well, reading all this has made me realize my chances of getting Cyrano out are pretty much non-existent. He's a voided villager who moved into my town and also my tenth one. I've tried everything and nothing works (and because of my TT'ing I'm pretty much close to being in 2015 now ). It seems the only way to get him to leave is to indeed sacrifice another villager, but I'd rather not to. Still, if it's the only way, I guess I'll have no other choice; his house is in the worst spot possible and I simply can't work with/around it. Blah.

When I was resetting my town, and cycling to get my dreamies out, Muffy moved in randomly. 6 days later she left.

Someone else has to move out before the last person to move in can move.

I had Biff move in and then move right out but not sure how often that happens.
