1 Bug/Fish to finish the museum

I TT but I don't do it to catch the bugs and fish. I'm taking advantage that I'm trying to get pinecones and acorns to craft flimsy rods for the barreleye and to do the tool crafting achievement.

it all depends on what you personally want to do. do you mind waiting until winter? if you do, go ahead and time travel. if it’s not something that bothers you, there’s no shame in waiting, either. either choice is perfectly valid.

for me, personally, i’m not 100% sure on what is still needed as i haven’t played in a while but i have no issue waiting to complete my critterpedia. i do still need to catch 2 of the summer beetles so i’ll definitely be trying to do that whenever i pick up the game again aha c’:

I have 2 islands and plan on waiting till Winter to catch the last bugs/fish for Four Players.
Player 5 has to wait till June to finish her bug collection.

I'd say wait for it. And while you're at it, take the time to complete the nook miles achievements where you have to catch thousands of fish, as well as making and breaking tools in the process.

We have a second island in SH, so we caught some fish/bugs there, but we are ok to wait until Dec to catch dung beetles.

I'm not gonna vote because the choice is your own, but I know hands down I would time travel in a hearbeat if I only had one fish and one bug left to catch. Blathers deserves a world class finished museum and you know I'mma get it for him, cuz he's my dude.

Depends on what I have, I’d time travel though to get the remaining stag beetles though.
So maybe Tt to winter I guess? Or maybe wait.

Would they add more bugs/fish in the future? This is my favorite pastime in AC, and I'd hate not to see new fish every month. I know the sea creatures are here, but still, it'd be nice to get other fish and bugs as well.

Omg that would drive me nuts. To have just one missing entry, a singular empty plot. If i was kept busy doing anything else it wouldn't bother me but if im actually trying to complete the entry to be busy then i would TT.

I don’t timetravel on my main island so I’m patiently waiting to finish the critterpedia ^^ though if someone doesn’t want to tt but is desperate to finish, can always visit someone else’s island

I'm in this situation, missing the beetle that pushes the snowballs I won't TT to winter but if my friends had their date set to days with snow on the ground, I'd look out for it that way. (I'm Northern, my BFF is Southern, so I've ended up catching a lot of out of season that way eheh ^^')

i love time traveling to fill out the museum, cause i enjoy walking through it, and seeing all the full exhibits lol.

I think if I'd just missed something due to life getting in the way I'd TT back for it, but like others I enjoy waiting for a new month to see what I can catch. I started the game in May so I imagine I won't be finished as soon as winter comes round.
