Sadly I know the truth to that, currently I am laying on a different more family-friendly site, always seeing people saying management will close down hmmm, it certainly isn't a positive feeling when you know/think a forum or active site may just burn down with numbers of users and basically die </3 I honestly hope neither of the two sites I use go down, but it's always a possibility >: Things happen.

Ok I erased more of the black carefully with the soft brush eraser, lowered opacity a little more and hopefully it looks somewhat better xD:

I didn't blend sadly Dx Hmm may have to experiment with the amount brushed and opacity.
