Mine was moot because it turns out playing it for a month doesn't actually deteriorate the grass much in the first place. Also, I did it before updating.

I didn't see your town on the list. :/ it's okay though I think there's someone else who can take katie off me haha. omg! all my villagers gossip about me being a time traveler too. Haha. It's cause I tried the grass regrowth thingy where I go back a month then go forward a month.
