Thanks for the replies. Yeah, I don't time travel so that makes sense. Part of me, though, doesn't want to spoil what's coming in fall/winter...lol. If I do keep them in the same hemi, I'd have to play different dates for sure so special events aren't happening in both towns on the same day. So...

I’m seriously debating getting another island. For those that have multiple islands, do you play both in the same hemisphere or is it better to have one island in the north and one in the south?

I've played without online play since release. I don't have an island theme so I haven't really noticed any problem with the color selection I have. The only thing I miss is not having all the different fruit, but realistically, it's not that big of deal to me.

I've noticed this happens when you sell your town to Nook. Any new characters of mine start off with a hefty bank balance.

Thanks for the replies. I'm not sure I could use the "nightmare" one unless it REALLY deserved it - but it would have to be really offensive as TheGreatBrain said above. Does the rating given effect anything? I'm thinking the "nightmare" rating means you won't be shown that dream again - but...

When you allow Luna to pick a dream town for you to visit, she always asks you to rate it: either Great, Average or a Nightmare. I tend to always use the "great" response but I'm wondering if others do the same or do you actually rate them - and if so, what criteria do you use to determine...

It doesn't bother me so much but after I've played for quite awhile, I have to remind myself get a villager to say this to me so that others can ping me again. So annoying if you forget and wonder why no one pings.

If you want to make sure that doesn't happen again - do this: If checking for a plot and there is none, continue and save with that character - then delete them. That way you can load with your Mayor no problem. The next day, plot check again with a new save file to see if a plot appears. Rinse...

As I understand it, you can only have one digital copy of the game per DS - but you can use as many physical cartridge copies as you want (along with the one digital copy)
