for sharing this with me ... we have shared a lot of our heart stories and especially about moms ... when I wrote this poem for the Fair contest, I wanted to weave my mom into it somehow, because she always loved the fair and I also put in my opening comment that "oh how I wish I could introduce mom to elephant ears!"
