That is what original means. TT'ing can risk them changing originality though. If you want to keep villagers original I go to retail and fill it up with furniture that costs 999,999 bells so that villagers won't buy them for their homes. I also change the ugly anytown shirts in the Able Sisters shop to umbrellas so vilagers won't change out of those clothes.

No prob. =) His plot will show up the next in game day for you. (usually) It took five(!) days once for a villager I had invited to show up but that is very rare.
