Thank you! Hubby doesn't type quickly and has never been on a forum so he feels out of place. I told him it's okay and that there were a lot of wonderfully nice people on here to meet. Hmmm, maybe it is a grown man thing. He wanted to play ACNL for a bit before he actually did but he thought a guy playing would be weird. He thought it was sort of a "girl's" game. I had to show him that there were a ton of guys on here before he believed me. I'd love to play with your girl & you! I think my hubby would like that too. I'll talk to him about it. What an awesome idea! If your girl would like to exchange FCs with me I'd love to be friends with her & play AC with her.

I hate to do this but may I ask a favor of you? My hubby recently joined TBT. He hasn't really been on here much yet. (He's a bit shy. He's never been on a forum before.) His name is dougzed. I was wondering if you could just say "hi" to him if you happen to see him. You can tell him you're my friend if so you don't have to feel weird about talking to him. I hate asking for a favor when you've already done so much for me but I'm trying to help him feel more comfortable when he's on here.

I've only been on here for a little over a year but even I've noticed that things aren't the same. I've talked to others who've been on here many years who feel like you do. It makes me sad. AC is meant to bring people together yet there are some people on this forum who just seem to want to make others unhappy. I'm sorry you haven't been sleeping well. I hope now that you've gotten a chance to speak your mind that you'll be able to sleep better. Wow - those Japanese forums sound terrible! I don't blame you for not wanting to go on them.

You've done a wonderful job of staying in control and giving yourself time to calm down. You did great! I'm beginning to think I'm just really good at making you cry. I think you've done an impressive job of controlling your emotions today. You could have lashed out at whoever or whatever upset you but you made the choice to take a step back, take a deep breath and give yourself time to calm down. You did everything perfectly. I'm sorry you're dealing with something that makes you hurt, mad & sad. I would take those feeling from you and carry them for you if I could. Even if you're not handling some situations as well as you'd like to be you're still handling them well. You made the choice to not say things that might hurt others. In the midst of you being upset you thought of others before yourself. I couldn't be more proud of how you handled yourself.

You take all the time you need. My family knows I have 2 stages of angry. Stage 1 is when I'm yelling, cursing & talking really fast. Stage 2 is when I stop talking and go into a different room. They all know when Stage 2 hits to back off and leave me alone. My hubby & son are both tall, strong men but they won't mess with 5 foot 4 inch me when I'm Stage 2 angry so I understand all about clapping your mouth shut tight. I know you're trying very hard to not saying anything that might hurt anyone & I'm so proud of you. Too many people say whatever they want on the internet & on forums. They don't care at all about the people they're interacting with. You do & that is admirable, my friend. Feel free to use as many cuss words as you want when you PM me. In real life I curse like a sailor when I get mad. lol!
