Sorry about the confluence of subjects, it is nothing directed at you personally. My question was only if you misrepresented yourself on LOL are you who you truly are? Do you change because you are "in-game"?
I am sure you are probably tired of this discussion and we can end it if you wish, but please know if your friend Kyle attacks me on my wall I will be back. I am not the "guardian" of the forum, it is not a place I wish to put myself in. I don't act unless something is so egregious that I have to act, so I will not just attack your friend surreptitiously, but act I will if I see something that is so cruel that it would be inexcusable for me to say nothing.

But our online persona IS who we are in game play, or it not this way for you? Do you misrepresent yourself to your team mates on LOL or do you only exclusively play with friends?

Also I never said the experiment was exclusively about Kyle, it applies to anyone put in certain environments. With that said let us agree that Kyle is merely a "troll" (or as you refer to it "trollin") or a "Russian" on DOTA.

Oh yes, please tell Kyle that I will quit talking when I AM good and ready to stop talking. Also I do not appreciate his cussing at me or feinting threats. If he wants to talk to me let him respond to me, although he would need to be able to hold a decent conversation without expletives and aggression. Can he stay on the forum long enough to respond? Tell him to let me know when he will be on and I will make sure I am on at the same time. In lieu of this my questions will be directed at you. Can he do this?

If you really want to understand how quickly human nature can turn, especially under the cover of anonymity check out the Standford Prison Study. Please note that this is not my way of saying your friend should be in prison, that would be completely absurd, but it does give amazing insight just people can change from being decent to being cruel depending on the situation they find themselves in. Knowing this, though, does not give someone license to overstep boundaries, they know deep down to be wrong.

Again, I believe you are missing the main point. This was never about scamming on a forum, this was about mean and cruel treatment of REAL people on a forum, where there is anonymity for your friend Lucas. I also do not see how your example of a someone who plays a video game, where there is killing, is the same as what your friend did. If I have to give a truer example it would have to be: someone on a DOTA 2 team, steals items from their teammates and when THEY screw their team and the team loses THEY cuss out the actual people on the team because of their "odd sense of humor". How acceptable is this? How acceptable would it be to those REAL people on the DOTA 2 team?

There was never any disrespect from your part in this situation, you have been nothing but polite and understanding.
This was never about an imaginary character in AC, it was about the verbal attacks on real people that angered me. It was the continued verbal assaults and taunting even when others asked them to stop, that caused me to act. I am glad he has a friend like you, I also understand the social ills that make us want to strike out that things and people, but this does not give us license to overstep social and moral boundaries in an effort to assert our autonomy. I believe this kind of thinking, this apathy to humanity and lack if human kindness is damaging to the human psyche and to society as a whole.
Be a good friend to him, we all need good friends to make us better people.
