You going to his town makes you drop off one of your voided villagers to his town, you don't get any voided villagers in yours cx basically you still have a free spot for I'm gonna assume cookie's Erik haha ^_^

not sure about 9th but i know 10th villager can be a pain
in my old main town Coco was 10th villager and since i have new main i cycle also in old main but can't get her out she is still there
