The kids in the program tend to be in a lot of classes together, so thankfully I'm usually with people my own age and who don't really bother me. My math class last year was rough, though. There were a ton of kids who clearly did not care about the class and were really rude to people who were trying to listen and spoke the whole time, even during tests. It was awful.
I was in the same boat. I had thought about taking Italian or French during my senior year, but the freshman this year are really annoying and the only people who took Latin were either in the program with me or people who I knew and who took class seriously.
I'm in a program that focuses on a 'classical' education and we had to take Latin at least 3 years. I decided to take it 4 because I thought that'd look nicer on my application hahaThank you so much!! About the signature...sure! Just make sure to put that it was quoted by me.
That sounds like so much fun! We're translating the Aeneid in my class and my teacher will give us so much history and backstory. Sometimes we don't even do Latin and just talk philosophy or about the news. It's such an interesting class, I'm so glad I decided to stick with it.
My Latin 1 teacher was too, but my class was so apathetic about the whole thing haha My teacher this year is so into Latin though and makes me excited to get to class.
My Latin 1 teacher tried to get us to call her Magistra but it didn't quite catch on xD
I've been taking Latin all four years of high school and I'm a huge Alice in Wonderland fan, so it just fell together. I use it on most websites, and very few get it. It's always a nice surprise when someone does c:
