I love that series! They did a fourth one just recently.
It is. I already have a good one, but getting models into it is a pain because you have to convert the model and set everything up so it's compatible with the engine that the application uses. Oh, and don't even get me started on environments! Also, sassiness is fabulous.
Not a lot, to be honest. I'm still searching for a decent 3D animating application so I can get started with one of my projects. Oh, and yes, that post is very nice.
