If I were you, since you already have reset, just keep on trying. It might take a bunch of tries, but if you really care that much, go for it. Or you could also start a game and earn up a lot of bells and buy one of them from the Villager Trading Plaza.

When you were choosing your map, what did you look for in your map? Like, town hall & plaza placement, Re-Tail placement, villager house placement? I usually like there to be a dip where my House can fit snuggly, and I like the plaza to be by itself, and the Town Hall north of the map, and...

Dabs are the size above Horse Mackerel. When catching a Dab, you will either catch a Red Snapper, Barred Knifejaw, or an Olive Flounder. (You may need these) Just look for the right size.
