lol I know how you feel, I used to write fanfics before and I cringed at my own work so hard, I just would never complete any of them. Even if people demanded more i'd be like "what do you mean this is trashhhh." If it helps, just try to think of a message you want to convey to your readers. Ask yourself this: Do you want to create a story that will reach people temporarily by having a great plot but no depth; or do you want to leave the reader with a message or a question, that will make them actually think and may spark conversation thats outside of character deaths and romances.
I've had great prior stories that I started writing and would love, but the problem I realized is that, it was just a great story and that was it. It will be fazed in and out and later forgotten. I wanted and my goal is, to write something that will be taken seriously, an example of this can be the hunger games and the underlying messages it had towards politics, social standings, reality, etc.
