    That's probably why. When you're at a certain number, you'll get random move in's. I hated it. That's why I TTed my second town all the way into having 8 villagers so I could plan what to do, lol. I guess she was coming regardless. :/ Did you just go one day? And at least you have room for Pecan?

    I only go a day at a time when I TT, unless I'm desperate to get someone out, lol. TTing is okay if it's 1 or 2 days at a time, talking to all the villagers you want to keep if it's more.

    I think you just have to go forward one day. I TT all the time and that's how I get plots and pick up several villagers in one day. As long as you don't streetpass with anyone, I think you're good on not worrying about random move-ins.
