Right? If people can do it and the end result makes them happy, then go for it! I just don't have that kind of dedication and those particular details don't bother me. My plaza is all over in my 3 towns. xD; It's in the very middle in my main, top right in my TTing, and top left in my newest. Retail is in the top leftish in all three towns though.

In my third town, I have this really obnoxious comma shaped pond. xD; It's right between the train station and Retail. But there's space to go above it, by the fence, so it's workable. It's the only pond in town.

The rocks in my main are okay. Only one is really in the way. But in my TTing town? Most of my rock positions look fake. xDD There's a couple close together, one riiight next to the plaza, and some in other weird places. They look like they should be the smashable gem rock, but no, they're real.

I like to put flowers between my path bushes. They get protected in there.

Yeah, there are a ton of different variables people are looking for in new towns. o: It must take them a loooooong time to find a town to be satisfied with. I didn't even know the Train Station changed colors until this forum. .-. Apparently there are a bunch of different colors. Red and blue and yellow and brown, and I think green. I've always had yellow and brown, which look neutral/natural enough that I never paid attention to it.

I like my Plaza somewhere out of the way. Usually in a corner or something. But it's not as important to me as Retail placement. Yeah, river shape is really important too.

Sometimes building/rock/etc placement makes a 1 tile pathway necessary in places. But just to have a 1 tile path going all around town? I can't stay oooonnnn. Especially ones lined with flowers? Talk about pressure kist to walking around. D:

Oh that would be great. Just had a huge mess to clean up. The seal burst on the dishwasher so we had water all over the kitchen floor. Perfect timing. The only hardware store we have in this small town is closed and we cannot get into town to get to any of the big stores today. I had planed on buying some stuff. Grr. Gotta go finish cleaning up under the counter.

I'm not, it's almost time for me to get ready to ring in the new year with family (whom I've been hiding from upstairs lol ). Sure that's a great idea , I'm sure she'll be really happy . My gate is open.

Weird, the link works for me. o: I didn't know there was differently shaped grass/snow until I joined this forum and everyone was resetting for different kinds of grass. Grass shape, native fruit, train station color, villagers, and map. Soooo many factors that all have to be right for people to stick with a map, and then they end up resetting a couple weeks later anyway. xD; I only look for map layout when I make towns. I like towns with a toooon of space and with Retail and the Town Hall at the top of the map.

A lot of people don't see the bush path at first because it's going sideways and it's not a standard "path" that people are used to seeing. xD I always have a lot of trouble staying on standard tiled paths when I visiti peoples' towns, especially if they're only one space wide, so I figured I'd make myself some guide rails. xD I've never actually had any trouble with grass wear in the rest of my town, though. And I don't have any running restrictions.

No I meant darn I finally get someone good and no space. I think about 25 resets to get diana settled. I just kept hitting buttons. I am afraid that when I TT back to the correct date I am going to lose someone. Thats exactly what happened Rosie. TT back a week and I went in 1 day No pings. Go in the next day and Rosie was in boxes. I need to cycle out 14 before I can get her back. Not sure who will replace her. I don't like Ankha. I had her in city folk. I am so tired now. Oh your answer about things being worse in the winter. Yes my hands are hurting pretty bad lol.

The new save file character I made looks like a drunk so I will be deleting her too. I am not sure I want to do the 16 villager cycle to get Rosie Back. Guess who's in my campsite in Primrose? Lucky. I never get anyone Good.

I know what you mean about villagers being stubborn. Kitty will still not leave and I have treated her the same as the others that have left ????? Drives me nuts... I have the beautiful town ordinance in my cycling town. Back to moving Diana around.

Jeez, asked your brother how you were feeling today and he said good. They though it was funny and corny lol. Brought a smile to her face for sure. I am actually doing a little bit of cycling. To see if anyone else moves in. I am at 9 still with Rosies move in so I am crossing my fingers that I stay there. Just in case I need an emergency spot.
