I don’t think it’s cross play like that I too have it on steam. One of my biggest issues is it seems to really push playing with others and I’m more of a “lone wolf “ when it comes to games

It’s way different than ac it’s almost like a rpg. There is tons of quests and an open world. I liked it for a bit at first but got burnt out fast just way to much thrown at you.

Oh I 100 % agree I prefer the concentrated island of new horizons or the small forest of wild world and game cube (and to an extent new leaf minus being the Mayer ). I’m ok having us visit another area but honestly I’d prefer something more like new horizons again with pocket camp features...

I think we are going to (not what I want ) get a more “open world “ animal crossing game. With maybe interconnected areas and a main hub (I hope a little village ) nothing will ever hit as good as the forest in original ac / wild world or the island of new horizons though for me.

I got it for the steam deck. I tried it the days are very short as a cute, almost Kawaii vibe. Very colorful I prefer it to stardew but because the days are so short it does get frustrating but worth getting I hope they add a slider to extend the days. I have a few farming sims in my library...
