I didn't know they tried to do a comeback tour, that's kinda embarrassing they had to cancel it haha. I might've gone just to fulfill my 13 y.o. self's life dream. I've only heard of Dan and Phil out of those, and I could never get into them tbh! I used to watch Alex Day, Tom Milsom, Charlie McDonnell, Lex Croucher, Liam Dryden, probably others that I can't think of right now. Unfortunately Alex and Tom were among the youtubers outed as sexual abusers last year(?) if you heard about that scandal?? Alex had a huge influence on my worldview and sense of humor as a teen, and Tom on my taste in music, sooo that was disheartening to say the least. That was a while after I stopped watching them (or anyone) on youtube though. The YT community seems so different now than it did ~5 years ago, or maybe I've just outgrown it idk. I don't think it was lack of appreciation in this case (I loved NYC and was actually set on moving there someday for like two years after that haha) there are just things I would've done differently. But that's how I feel about most decisions I've made in my life anyway lmao

And yeah I do like otome games but only if it has a good plot/story. I also only like it if the characters stay within their character. Like I've played some otome games where the story is good but when the girl and the guy get together they act really gross and out of character (in a bad way) and I'm just like eww nope nope nope bye. XD

But yeah Hijikata is so focused on work all the time, tbh for someone like that I would probably just leave them be so I don't do true them or anything lol. And omg yeah damn it I really wish I could learn how to read japanese. :'( It's a sad life. Wow, my school was/is one of the biggest in the area so this is the first time I've ever thought of it as small haha. Even with ~300 people in my class I def didn't know every face. College is a good motivator! I was sort of an anglophile when I was 16-17 so I probably would've been all over that club ) mostly bc I watched a lot of British YouTubers so I fancied myself an expert on England/the UK. The New York trip was pretty awesome! It would've been cooler if we had longer than a week though, and also if I wasn't freezing and exhausted the whole time. And if I wasn't 14 and stupid lmao. By and large though my clubs were not exciting. Math league sounds exciting to you??? Haha. Basically my whole math class that year joined bc our teacher was head of the league and gave extra credit based on how we did at meets. Yeah I guess so! Although I can't imagine I'm the type who would've spent hundreds of dollars on prom anyway.

ahh yeah thats probably what it is. I remember learning temperature in 3rd grade so thats what i got out of it LOL. I always thought caliente just meant hot xD hahaha yes they do talk pretty fast! My babysitter was hispanic so she would always be lecturing her boys in spanish and alwaaays had those spanish soap operas on... they were interesting... LOL but yesss that would be so nice to spend some time in a different country and learn more hands on. ~1200 students maybe? I'm really not sure. I imagine yours was bigger? What made you decide to join clubs? And what clubs did you join? I think I actually only joined one freshman year: art club, which basically my whole extended friend group joined just to go on the New York trip they were planning for spring break haha. But I worked pretty hard to earn that trip which not all my friends did! Then sophomore year I joined math league and leo club but my participation in them was more half-assed (I was kicked out of leo club at the end of the year for not completing enough projects lmao). Then senior year my two remaining friends became presidents of math league and leo club and thus became busier and so I was lonely a lot that year too. Yeah I don't regret not going to prom either bc I know I would've been miserable, but like, my friends went, and I still sometimes feel like I missed a big milestone there.
