I never had a fully fleshed out vision for my second town, but there was a section I was gonna dedicate to writing out words in bushes, and I got close to two words done (sooo many bushes) before I realized it just looked bad. So now there's this huge area with nothing in it so I'm gonna try to relocate all my villagers there which is going to be A Task for sure..... Lazuli would be such a cute town name!! Do you have any other ideas? I keep a running list of potential town names but they're p much all references haha. There's maybe 4 or 5 I'm actually considering for my new town.

That's true about the family vibe, although that's actually one thing that kinda annoyed me about both shows because it felt too unrealistic for a workplace lmao. I cried when Michael left too! And at Jim and Pam's wedding all three times I watched it. And at the Parks finale when Ann came back. Yeah the time jump was weird, it felt gimmicky the way they kept trying to remind you it was the future (i.e. the futuristic phones and referencing things that haven't happened yet). And yeah the lack of kid presence felt like a huge plot hole. Oh I hadn't heard of those but they look cute, are they based on actual characters from something? Haha what a nice mom!! I'm spoiled too for sure. Like I know the pressure I feel to move out asap is entirely self-imposed (well, societal pressure is there too).

Wooo, now you can relax for a month!! I'd heard of Serial but had no idea what it was about until I looked it up just now. Will probably have to check it out since it's the most downloaded podcast on iTunes ever and there's not too many episodes. Hollywood Handbook has over 100 (and it's the newest of the podcasts I listen to lol) but it's also not a story so you don't *have* to listen to every ep, although it helps since there are a lot of in-jokes. I feel like you have to have a really particular sense of humor to like it, so it's ok if you don't haha but I hope you do! Yup I got sucked into this event! But I'm prob just doing the forum based stuff (present hunt and present guessing) and the AC stuff. I've been working on my winter room for days omg, just putting the finishing touches on it now aaah I'm really happy with it. I used one of my museum rooms in NL, def don't have enough furniture in HHD, although I did strongly consider speeding through it to unlock stuff haha.

It's ok, the answer was announced already and I wasn't *really* asking for help anyway haha, omg tho I was on the right track but I skipped right over that thread bc I didn't think it would be in there, sigh!! Lesson learned, leave no stone unturned (totally made that rhyme on purpose)

It's mostly hybrids and gardening supplies! I initially wanted to open a hybrid shop, since I was allowing myself to TT for the first time in that town and took advantage of that for mass hybrid breeding, but that just never happened. Ahhh a forest town is what I would do with my new third town (or heck I might do it with my second bc I'm kinda unsure about the direction I'm currently taking it). So many of the most gorgeous enviable towns I've visited via dream have been forest towns. I would totally attempt a hacked town if my 3ds wasn't updated too tbh!! I always update it tho bc my 3ds is prone to random errors (not so often that I feel like it's a serious issue, like every 6 months or so) and keeping it updated is supposed to improve stability.

The Office was my fav show for years!! Excluding the last few seasons which were disappointments, but I've seen the first ~5 seasons so many times. I think The Office partially skewed my expectations for Parks bc I expected it to be similar, like in terms of being grounded in reality, but I guess it took a second watch-through for me to fully get the satirical elements of Parks lmao. But the 7th season was just too unreal for me to get on board with. Mine isn't wall mounted but omg that would look so cute. What kind of toys do you collect/have? I'm assuming you're not buying any amiibo haha. Ahh I figured that would be #relatable lol. Do you think you're gonna live there until you finish grad school? I'd consider going back to school if I didn't think I'd be dooming myself to staying here for another 2-4 years ugh. So much of my inability to make decisions stems from my feeling like I've wasted too much time already. Which of course just leads to more wasted time.

Ooh tell me the name of the podcast when you remember! I only really got into podcasts around May of this year, there's maybe 3 I listen to regularly atm (and a handful I might tune in to when there's a guest I like). The one I just started listening to is called Hollywood Handbook, where basically the two hosts pretend to be these big-time Hollywood douches who brag about their lives under the guise of advising others on how to succeed in the biz. They act like complete idiots and it's ridiculously funny, especially when they have guests who "get" the show and play along well. I've never really cared about tbt or collectibles but I know at least one past festival had an ACNL town contest and I regretted missing that bc I felt like my town was better than some of the ones that placed tbh lmao.

I got this tiered spice rack that'll fit 12-15 of them depending on how cramped I decide to make it, I'll probably put that on my bookcase but I have to do some major de-cluttering first. I'm hesitant to do any major decorating in my room bc I just think well I'm gonna move out soon anyway, but I've been telling myself that for like 3 years now -_- Did you end up getting another ACNL?? I can't decide whether to start a new town on my third copy (second one I bought) or just resell the cartridge bc honestly I can barely keep up with two towns at a time. Whatever I decide, I have so much stuff in that town I have to give away first but I've been putting it off for months bc I'm too lazy lmao. What are you planning to do with your second town? That's cool!! It's not bigheaded to admit you're good at something, as long as you actually are haha, but you have good taste in things so I trust your judgment

Whoops when I said later I sincerely didn't mean four days later (lmao are all our messages gonna start this way now??) I got into a new podcast recently that I've been dedicating p much all my free time to! I think I've missed most of the forum events since I signed up bc I happen to be inactive during them haha. Ooh I don't think I even had a FB until 10th grade. I was probably among the last people still clinging on to myspace in early 2010 hahaha. Awww thanks I appreciate that! I realized shortly after I sent that that I pretty much summarized my situation in one of the first messages I sent you lmao. But purposely left out details. I only started watching Parks like just after the 6th season ended and I honestly thought that was the last one, so I'd already come to terms with it being over and then surprise, 7th season! I wasn't a big fan of that season tho, but maybe I just need to watch it again, bc I liked 2-6 much better the second time I watched them for some reason.
