If you go through villagers in your void while not interacting with those that have voided villagers- the villagers lined up to move into your island queue will be empty. Plant a bunch of weeds/ skip a lot of days and the appeal of your island goes down. I think it's about 50 weeds for another...

It usually is just 1 day but as an ex cycler here is a fun fact: if you kick out enough villagers through TTing you go through the villagers queued for your island. You have to be careful inviting others to your island because the villagers that got kicked out without being bought can get put in...
