None because beautiful town isn't needed unless you are into flower breeding (or there is some new aspect I dont know about), bell boom in the past has increased the price of everything (maybe that's not the case now) and I am retired so I don't need to change the time of shops.

I loved the gyroids in past games but there were SO many of them and only 3 (I think) would "sing" at the same time in your home so I gave up keeping them. If I remember correctly I filled up all of my upper level museum rooms with them and there still wasn't enough space. The new ones here...

more space for designs

I restarted my island a few months ago and this has kickstarted me into high gear!

So so excited! There is so much more in this direct than I had even hoped for! Maybe in the future they will let us have more design spaces (I hate to even mention this since they gave us sooooo much - it's like a whole new game!

OK thanks for the info. I noticed when I clicked on edit, my option took me to my own picture storage. Thanks at least now I know I'm not losing it lol. I miss those old villager avitars!

How do I change my avitar from a blue square to an ACNH villager picture? I seem to remember many moons ago there was a grouping of villager pics on the site we could chose from but maybe things have changed?

And if you have any amiibo cards you can invite a villager that is the type that gives the DIY you are looking for. You can keep asking them back until they request the DIY you want.
