I knew the layout I wanted before I started, so I reset a LOT until I got it (Blue Town Hall/Train Station, vertical ramps to beach, waterfall facing south, not too many lakes, decent sized area to build a forest). Once I had that, I figured out where the cafe/police station/other characters...

I could really do with Freya and Chief. My town is called Foxwood and I know they're wolves, not foxes, but they're the closest I can get.

I mostly picked mine because of aesthetics. I want villagers that 'fit' in my town. I'm also trying for at least one of each personality type (though I could do without any Jock villagers, to be honest.)
