I honestly can't say who is and isn't trans, so I also tread lightly. However, seeing the amount of people on Tumblr pretending to have DID (the headmates thing) along with various other disorders, I would assume there's just as many people who pretend to be transgendered.
Especially when somebody says "my pronouns are bun/buns/bunself", all I can think is that I've never heard of a person having a gender identity disorder in which they identify as bread. It's gotten to a ridiculous point and I just want those people to stop.
Nah, I know it's a real thing that people can have. It just really irks me how people decide to use transsexuality and other disorders to stand out. My comment was kinda short so I understand it was easy to take it the wrong way.
Just as an addendum to what I said in the 101 Reasons thread:
My point was more that people on Tumblr seem to grasp onto anything that will make them "special". It's become a cesspool of idiots that want to stand out for no reason and I've noticed a lot of trans people on here with Tumblr accounts. It was just a general jab at the people that do it to be "cool", because they are hurting the image people that actually have problems with their gender identity.
I'd have said the same thing if the subject had been stuff like autism, DID, and various other disorders. There are people on Tumblr that have these disorders and I was not attacking them. The attack was aimed at the ones that think those people aren't struggling, and are only making it worse for them.
