About the grass deteriorating problem, it would be amazing if they had implemented some kind of shoe hardness feature or something. Like, if you took your shoes off and ran around barefoot, it'd be cool if that didn't cause any grass wear or something.

I'm buying cedar saplings, I need 20 of them and I'm buying them for 8k each. Also willing to trade axes for saplings at a 1:2 ratio, if you'd rather.

That's something I'm really excited to do, but I'm waiting to get a golden axe haha. I'm going to cut down almost all of my trees and replant some fruit orchards in specific spots, some normal trees in others, and some pine trees all over the place. I'd love to see your town for inspiration on...

I haven't heard of any plans like that, but if it makes you feel any better I'm in America and have a 100% empty showcase. For some reason I never get spotpass or streetpass things for this game.

Huh.. I'll check both of those things. I may have turned spotpass off for some reason a while ago.

Thanks everyone, it's a little comforting to know that I'm at least not as unfortunate as some people lol. It would really suck to not have a fishing pole for that long =/ Also, I don't know why but I never got the spotpass HHA houses. Is there something special you need to do to get them?
