Hahah. I almost bought the AC 3DS. I changed my mind and stuck with blue though.
I started playing with the Gamecube version. It had to be a while ago. xD I'm not really sure when I actually started. I got this game earlier this year though a month or so after buying my 3DS. x3 I wanted ACNL before I had the system but I bought Pokemon X first.
