I have to change at Ely I think, there isn't a direct train from here that gets me to Cambridge on time.

Nawww it's okay, I feel really lucky to have people wanting to help anyways. And I stumbled upon a cycling thread giving away Tom the other day, and got to adopt him. So I'm getting really close to having my dream town already! ^^
It looks like restarting your town might be a good method for cycling, since you get 5 new villagers instantly. I hope you find some people's dreamies! : D

Awww, that's a shame :C I understand though. It would be awesome to get Merengue, though! I don't know which of them would be harder get. Merengue is a lot more popular, but Pecan has been pretty elusive too. XD Either way I'd be delighted. I guess you could just see who turns up first! I'll be sure to have some gifts ready for you when you do restart for them! <3 -
