I usually get a mover on the 5th day, sometimes the 4th.
It's a fast way of getting rid of unwanted villagers, and since you're always coming back to the correct date you will always be on speaking terms with your villagers. So they can always ping and I've never found it to affect friendship levels doing it that way either. Marshal and fang still spam my mailbox .

The only thing I've never managed is moving out the newest villager....I'm not actually sure if it's possible

To be honest, I've found it pretty random. When I was cycling for Genji there were certain villagers I introduced myself and my other character to, and they actually stayed longer. There was another who I just introduced to my mayor and they were pinging to move by the time I'd tt'd 4 days

What I do in my main town is make sure I speak to everybody before I statt tt'ing, then go day to day until I find somebody who wants to move (I never go past 4 days, I just change the clock back to the proper date and start over, it works best at 10 villagers too). So if I'm on the 11th but don't get a ping to move until the 13th, I'll just go straight back to the 11th, then check again for pings, go 4 days forward and check again, go back to the 11th. If I still haven't got a ping to move by this point (which happens occasionally, not very often though) I'll just go to the 12th, 13th, etc until I get one. Then back to the 11th. Does that make sense?

Well, I think they look different enough and I love them both (Genji the most of course) but I guess I wonder what other people who visit think (silly I know).
Erik and beau are adorable together, I'd like to have something similar for Genji. Will see
Before Erik left when I first had him, I kept a letter from him saying he had a dream I went missing and I have to promise to never leave, kept that one

In mine it's Julian and Diana she's really kind to him, I would have thought her and Fang but he seems to like Skye best. I like to observe who is friends with who in town im wondering if I'm missing a chance now cookie is leaving to get Genji and snake together. She lives next to Genji so snake could go there...:might be too much though, 2 similar bunnies

I've always preferred the male personalities over the girls, I don't like uchi personality, even the cute ones, and there's only a couple of snooties I like. I like having some girls for marshal and Julian to send flowers to still feeling guilty over letting maple go....she and marshal were best friends. Then I took Peanut away from him....haven't noticed him being great friends with the girls I have now

I think I've gone off the googly eye look that some villagers have....
Ruby will be worth a try for me at some point too I think, I'll try bluebear first, cookie is moving in 4 days but I'll tt her out I think.
I did have two peppies at one point, Rosie and peanut, found that Peanut would have different dialogue to Rosie which was nice. But it got a bit wearing having them both at the same time

Might even end up doing without a peppy at some point, I have all the pwp suggestions now, I just like to have at least 4 females at a time. Balances it out a bit

I'm trying to catch an extra scorpion for my house but they're so fast....have next month for those at least though. And my museum has them so it's not anything urgent

Decided I'm going to let go of cookie to give bluebear a try, the peppy personality really wears on me though....not sure I will end up having a peppy who stays permanently

You know, I've found so many gar while I was looking for the Arrowana that I'm fed up of them. It's so strange how some towns seem to spawn certain fish easily and others take an absolute age....

Just got one!
I just ran the length of the beach catching sea bass and then resetting the spawn. Didn't take as long as I thought! will tt back to today now, I like to play in real time so happy, I finished my fossils and art ages ago. Was just the summer bugs and fish I needed and the lovely coelacanth

Good job on catching the scorpion! I found it much harder than the tarantula. Although it spawned much more often, it stung me a couple of times before I had chance to bring my net down. The tarantula just ran past me and then stops there hiding in my flowers....or so it thought they're both just engaged in some kind of duel in my museum now

The worst one for me was the giant snakehead....I never had such a hard time getting anything. And it's not especially interesting to look at

Glad you got her settled. It's a nightmare when they just won't plot. There are some places in my town where a house just won't go, I've just got exact places now
Was considering tt'ing to the rainy season just to get one, may do that tonight. I'm really glad actually that Nintendo didn't give the option to make bugs and fish tradable. It's a much better feeling having done it all yourself. I would have been too tempted to give in had I been able to buy them off here.

And I've now almost completed my museum just the coelacanth to get

The method I use is 4 days forward from the day I get a moving ping and 4 days back. If I still haven't got a mover by then I go day at a time until I do and then repeat the process. As long as you make sure to run in front of everybody who is outside you should be fine I managed the 16 villager cycle without losing anybody I wanted to keep, I only lost Genji because I was trying out thw month forward and back method didn't work for me

As for the campsite, i never used to check it when I was waiting for dreamies, just too frustrating. Cycling would be the fastest way to get everybody though, it's why I started doing it. Just got so impatient haha

She has to be one of the most beautiful villager. I was getting swayed by other snooties who looked appealing. But I shouldn't have swapped her out for a different on in hindsight, should have swapped out somebody else at some point who who i didn't absolutely love. But... I learned that now

My originals were very hard to get rid of, it's why I started cycling them out. It was always the newest in town who pinged the most. Midge was another starter and she was there an absolute age. I didn't hate her in the beginning but I started to get annoyed she was taking up a space

Oh but yours balanced out with Diana moving in I mean honestly. I did have Chrissy who isn't too bad I guess but I just found her creepy, whereas I wouldn't have minded if it were Francine. I literally had no luck with move ins or campsite though, if it wasn't for tbt I would have most likely been stuck in a cycle of villagers I really didn't like....
Yet in my cycle town I got Julian, ankha, phoebe and lolly in the campsite within the first few cycles, then had Rosie, Wolfgang, Lopez, zell and bluebear as either originals or move ins

God, the best I had in the campsite was lobo!
I've never had anybody I really liked camping or randomly move in, in fact, my starting villagers were diva and Gigi (who I couldn't tell apart) and rocket then I had flip and monty move in, both monkeys who I could only tell apart by colour.

I'm going to start trying to get a pet tarantula in a bit I absolutely hate them in real life so I think I might enjoy living this double life in ACNL starting with unusual pets

Just keep catching sweet fish sized shadows in the evening for the turtle, I've caught several of them but I love keeping them and it's one of the few fish I don't mind the villagers having
And I'm always catching gar....I caught several in the same place the snakehead spawns. I was looking for an Arrowana the other night and kept getting gars, got one in the end

And I've found a certain spot in my town where tarantulas and scorpions spawn without fail, I just keep saving and continuing to reset the spawn and every dozen times or so of doing that either a scorpion or tarantula would appear. Mine is in my mushroom garden of all places but there's no trees or flowers there so I guess it stops other things spawning

It's so much nicer when you've got all pwps unlocked and don't have to worry about having a personality you don't really love, just for their suggestions. You've got the majority of your dreamies a lot faster than I did though

Ah, I'm pleased you got ruby I forgot all about her as a peppy, you know...
And 10bil is a bit much really, that transaction would never get completed, be there all day and night....which is another reason I prefer tbt transactions, just so much faster

I've been working on my museum, just cannot get a coelacanth that will be my last fish. Finally caught a giant snakehead this morning - they disappear the end of the month if you haven't got one yet found it really tricky to find....
