The ACNH Rant Thread

I never understood why they were removed. No one was complaining. Even Pocket Camp has them.

They added another layer of complexity to the fruits you could plant, that was honestly very rewarding. You get gorgeous fruit trees that are worth a lot of bells for your effort? I would never harvest mine because I loved the look of the fruits. Just feel like they robbed us here :ROFLMAO:

Me - Running up and down the beach, trying desperately to spot Bunny Day presents so that I can shoot down enough Sky Eggs to unlock the clothing items.

Gullivarrr - Standing in a narrow strip of beach where I keep having to go far out of my way to avoid him.

:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

I wish you could turn off bunny day eggs - imagine if Zipper came and asked if you wanted to collect eggs?! You could even change your mind each time you log in if you just want a break from the eggs. That would be perfect 😂

tbh I think it’s to do with the fact they’re now a crafting material rather than something purely aesthetic. If you need x amount of whatever your native fruit is, if one of them’s a perfect fruit that’s going to end up being a massive pain for you

Went through NL catalog today to see what was missing

As someone with hazel eyes with brown and green mixed together, it bums me out there's still no hazel eye colors in the game even four years after launch. I ended up having to choose brown to get something somewhat close.

This game just feels like stuck in the past where there is no growth whatsoever. Tom Nook for example just says "I can't think of anything else for you to do". He's been saying that since 2020
Compared to New Leaf it's a step back in a lot of ways and the lack of content compared to that game is a shame, especially for a four year old $60 game. The new content they added in updates was nice, but it should've been in the game since launch and wasn't enough to really add much more playtime.

I'm still fond of the game though and have gotten a good amount of time out of it. Hopefully Nintendo hears fans' feedback and makes a more complete game next time.
