You can't earn anymore seashells after 10. You only get 10 at registration, that's it.
Before the seashell currency system was created, there was welcome bells, where people get paid 400 to 750 TBT Bells for registration. However, people abused the system to get more bells, so they cancelled the welcome bells system. Since this made it harder for newer members, they brought in seashells.
