Yeah I saw that. They had no idea what they were talking about.
As per Villager Expo rules: "If you are looking for TBT Bells, you must make your topic in the TBT Marketplace instead."
I mean, you've already moved it once and I'm sure it'd be a bother to switch back over again, but maybe next time just ignore 'em unless they can find you a section of proof saying why exactly you shouldn't be doing it.
Anyways, just thought I'd mention that you weren't wrong.

Yeah I sent them a VM of a rule quote proving my point
 
I'm not bidding but I'm posting because I have seen some skewed information. Selling/Auctioning Villagers in TBT Marketplace is absolutely acceptable and encouraged as long as it's for TBT Bells! The only thing that is prohibited is BUYING threads for Villagers. Trading/Giveaway villagers however, would be best kept in VTP! So there you have it, quote me if you need proof someday! :)

hey, I was only saying to put it in the VTP because I did exactly the same thing as this and Gandalf (moderator) closed it because it was in the 'wrong' place!
 
I understand now :) everything is good. If Gandalf closes my thread, I will just have to quote Kaiaa :)
