I'm interested in buying a shiny Feebas.
Feebas - male, level 1, Oblivious Ability, 6IV, Modest nature, in Dive Ball (Hypnosis/Mirror Coat/Haze/Dragon Pulse)
If you don't mind me asking, where do you get all these pokemon? If they're legit, Kalos-bred, and not cloned, how do you get a steady supply of the exact same pokemon? I know breeding is a lot easier this gen, but getting them to come out shiny is still a pain, and getting them to hatch shiny often enough to build a store around it is pretty incredible.
I don't mind in the least, and I'm happy to share. You're definitely correct in stating that it can be a pain to amass a large number of shiny Pok?mon, but there is a method that, while also rather tedious and time-consuming, allows you to guarantee a shiny hatch. It's called the shiny value method, and I'll elaborate on it below:
I breed all of the eggs for IVs, ability, and nature in my spare time. I hatch each batch without saving, and have a friend battle me using the newly hatched Pok?mon. My friend is able to view all the details of my Pok?mon, including the shiny value. Once I have that information, I attempt to find a person in
this database with a corresponding trainer shiny value. I trade them the egg, they hatch my Pok?mon, and then trade me back the newly hatched shiny. The above link also has other various information about shiny values, but it's definitely the best way to obtain shinies without resorting to slimy methods (cloning, importing hacks through Bank, or cheating in any way)
As for why I always have the "same Pok?mon", I typically breed the Pok?mon that seem to be the most requested, so I end up with large numbers of eggs for the same species. None will ever have the same OT (and will have a different hatch date/location in almost all cases), even if all the other information seems to be the same. I breed them with a specific moveset, nature, and ability, and they'll also have the same ball since I use the same parents for each batch, to optimize IV breeding. Hopefully this information was helpful, and I'll message you about trading Feebas.
