  • This is so late. ;;; I'm available today right now until 9:30pm PST when I'll log off.
ya that's rough :( experience is a tricky thing. i've done a lot of social media work for some pretty huge sites so i'm hoping that will help me somehow.

they never let me play any actual instruments in school... maybe like, the triangle? i really wish they'd have taught us guitar but i guess that's too HIP for a bunch of old school teachers. guitar is like a key instrument in most songs so it's important to learn and i definitely wanna pick it up sometime next summer. i wanna do more with the keyboards too! :)
gotcha! i'm on both equally, so many platforms these days though...

and yeah it sounds it! we're basically the IMAGE of a company. i wonder if i'll have any luck actually getting hired when i get my qualifications though because i've never really had a proper job before. it's scary. :x adulthood is not exciting at all

i've made plenty of my own original songs but i don't really share them yet. i don't have a ton of music knowledge but i can play the keys and arrange a bunch of other things too. video editing is really fun, i didn't take classes for it though as there were none at any schools i went to. :( i just learnt the programs myself since i was creating small stopmotion movies at the time and wanted to get those out there. i'm definitely very proud of this skill but it's hard to imagine a career in it. it's a really fun hobby though! onto what i was talking about earlier, can you play any instruments? 8)
do you have skype or discord? i'm on both! :D i'd definitely love to take a look

history classes are TERRIBLE. i love learning about history but not in a forced environment... reading wikipedia or looking at old photographs will do for me tbh. art history is like a whole different level though, it sounds super daunting. i definitely don't envy you there! i'm basically learning how to manage social media accounts for companies and how to effectively "sell" what they're offering. it sounds super boring but actually posting to a companies social media platform (so, twitter for example) is a lot of fun and some companies definitely give you a lot of creative freedom to make it fun and not stuffy. hoping to get a career in this path! gonna be tough but i'll do what i can if it doesn't work out i can always try something else. :) i have skills in video editing, music and coding too so that's something.
that's so cool! i'd really love to see what that looks like. 8) i'm sure she'll like it a lot!

woah, it does? i've never really done any service work before honestly but i'd love to at some point even if it can be pretty exhausting. i've considered it for sure but i'm with you there, it's super hard to look after animals as is, but being a vet or such is really scary to me... i'm currently taking courses in social media and marketing so that's likely where i'll be taken! it's sorta boring but i'd love to manage a companies social media platforms as i definitely have the talent to do. it's good to have an idea of where you wanna end up, haha.
i'm sorry you guys are low on money but you have each other and that's what counts 8) also, i agree! my friends barely let me get them gifts though... i can relate because when someone is like "hey want this for christmas?" i'm like NONONO don't spend on me... i also can't make things so it's really hard. i need to pick up a skill so i can physically make things for my friends.

ooh! that's incredible. mostly breeders or pet stores sadly. i feel a little guilty about this because shelter animals really do need to be cared for too and next time i definitely will be. it's just very stressful because occasionally they can be very very scared of humans and also need a lot of vet attention too... but i'm sure it'd be worth it for a lovely animal that just wants to be loved by someone. also, good luck volunteering! i'd really like to as well but i'm not sure how i'd even get started doing something like that. are you at all interested in working with animals full time in the future? :)
i'm terribly sorry to hear that, that is awful. :( at the very least i'm glad to hear you're now somewhere that you feel safe and happy, and even more so that you can enjoy the holidays this time of the year! that's lovely for you. is there anything specific you'd like for christmas? :D my family struggle to get things for me for sure, haha

oh man i feel the same way. we have like a TON of stray cats around this area and they always try and get in the house but we just can't afford to look after them. our 3 cats are expensive enough as-is and taking in others would mean we couldn't even feed our own ones. our dogs thankfully get along well with our cats but strays can be a different story. have you ever adopted an animal from a shelter? i've seriously considered doing so a few times but once again, lack of money and time to look after even more animals. :(
oooh that's lovely! curious - why your first year? if that's too personal no worries at all! i'm just very curious to learn since it's basically a tradition where i am, and my family isn't even really christian. i'm very happy you guys are enjoying each others company and having a good time together though, that's lovely!

i dunno if it's really strange as such but my cats are crazy. they'll legit come in to the room at 4am when they're hungry and lay RIGHT ON MY FACE. i could easily be suffocating under them and they wouldn't care at all. :') cats are super lovely to have though most times, they're just very independent. i'm sure my bunnies will get up to lots of crazy things too, they've just gotta settle down first. are there any other types or pets you'd really like to get?
please do! i'd really love to see your works. and nope, just making it nice with the family. we're actually putting up christmas decorations and the tree too today! do you celebrate?

also that's precious... i must see this. my cats aren't much for socialising as are rabbits.. but my dogs totally would do this.
woah, nice! i'd really like to see some of your work if you're comfortable sharing. :) and yes, decorating is all done for the main room of the house! so much work left to do but i will trudge through it.

that's adorable :'D. dogs really are super lovely and comforting animals, definitely require a ton of energy but it's worth it for them. it's crazy how much love dogs feel for their owners if treated right. we don't deserve dogs....
that sounds super stressful, glad to hear you'll be done really soon though!! i've been decorating my house so def feeling the stress. what are you studying?

dogs are cute too, my family has two! we also have cats so it's definitely a big animal family. what's your fave type of pet? :]
i agree :( it's pure pain. how are you doing today, btw? i've had a super busy day, buying two rabbits. 8)
oh I definitely feel ya there. I'm using the secret storage so much but even that is getting really filled up. :( do you ever have that problem where you just don't have enough room to put items down on your towns ground? literally every tile except bridges is filled by pathways, flowers or other decor in my town...
yeah it definitely does sound like a lot of fun! and i agree about houses, i've got 2 in my main town and they were super hard to design, especially the secondary characters. i'm working on a third right now which will be christmas themed. it's gonna be a cosy little cabin! thinking about changing it how it looks to match the holiday happening or maybe just the season, even. still hard to get hold of all the items i need to make it look pretty though </3 i do love a lot of the new items too.
I do yes! and that's a good idea 8) I've always wanted to design multiple towns but I just don't think I have the patience or the time tbh... my main town is like super decked out though so I'm satisfied enough with that. I have a secondary town for villager resetting purposes and such. I've been considering doing a cycling town too!
i hadn't been playing much at all either. :( been so busy with pokemon and stardew valley and so many other games. but i'm playing more frequently now and doing some remodelling to my towns. 8)

3 towns though?! anyr eason why? :D
