You're welcome! Sometimes they're really stubborn on where they want to plot, so if you're not too attached to your paths and the like (you can put your flowers on the beach and hide them!), then I recommend just putting fountains EVERYWHERE but where you want them to plot. c;

I don't have much of a method, really. I just gave up on plotting Bam so now I'm trying to move him out so I can cycle through 16 and plop fountains all over my town to make him move where I want him, haha. The only advice I can give it to TT one day at a time, running in front of everyone at least once. Even then it isn't guaranteed, though, as they may not ping you.

Absolutely! It's insanely easy to do, but actually getting them in their specific spot is the hard part.

Basically what you do is, on the day you know a villager is going to plot (for example, the day after you ask someone to move in), You 'create a new save file' instead of continuing and playing as your mayor or side characters. Answer Rover's endless questions, and once you're actually in your town go run to find the plot. If it's in an area you don't want it in, simple hit the power button and then the home button to quit without saving. Just repeat until you get them in a spot you'd like. c:

If it does happen to take longer than one day, what I do is reset the clock to noon before I keep trying the next day. If the date changes, that doesn't matter as long as you don't load up your mayor. But I don't like to let the time get to midnight. Just personal preference, though!
