  • haha He does have the Watson vibe. What a great idea for a town character--Sherlock side character. Do you have Wisp and amiibo capability? I think I have an extra Beardo card you can have. Then he can move in to your town.
Woops, I think I just replied and clicked the wrong button, so accidentally reported you :/ Hopefully that didn't go through? I was just talking about Beardo and how I was so upset he once moved out of my town (during the days of no amiibo update) that I made everyone in town wear a shirt I designed with his face on it and built a lighthouse "memorial"... So yup! I like Beardo. He is my fav.
Aww thank you. I try to be an awesome person since this is an awesome community but I feel that lately, I'm not coming off as an awesome person. I'm going to blame the stress of the holidays, even though it really is the holidays. Someone as introverted and not big on parties as me doesn't like when people are always at my house and it's non-stop parties and company at my house for the last two weeks and it's irritating me in real life and I'm probably projecting that irritation onto the forums. I'm always ranting and venting about this game but it's been worse lately and I noticed people are pointing that out to me. So I'm also thinking about taking a break from the forums too, maybe just focus on watching anime and getting my bearings and come back in a few weeks or so. And thank you for the all ears offer. I appreciate it.
True, Isabelle has more power than we do. I think she was supposed to be mayor but pushed it off on us. Maybe, no telling what they plan to do in the next game they might make us animals!!!
LOL the suburbs.Yeah, it would be nice if they asked but technically no one asks a mayor in real life where they can move within the town, so it makes sense that that feature isn't added in this game. That would give us too much power and we barely have any in this game to begin with lol
Oh, I don't like ponds right in front of my train station. It just looks bizarre. Come in from main street and hello random pond. Yeah, doesn't work for me. I guess with the villagers living in one area makes it feel like there is more room to place PwP. For me, I realized, before thsi last reset, that all my villagers living in one area makes me feel claustrophobic. In Ossipri, my villagers are utilizing my entire map (sans a few places I blocked them from moving) and I like the villagers spread out more than them all living in one part of town.
What you said was pretty inspiring lol. Yeah, I mean my map by no means is perfect, but there is no such thing so I'm just focusing on just playing also my town is themeless. That way, I won't be focused on getting a PwP request from a certain theme, and then if I don't frustrated and rage restart. Also, I'm not focusing too much on villagers moving out or where they choose to plot. Villager houses take up a relatively small space so they are not impossible or hard to work around. So, long story short, I'm just playing. No planning, no plot resetting, no obsessing about that I can't control (like rock placements) and just playing.
Thank you. Yeah, I mean, so far I have no desire to reset but that feeling usually shows up about a month or so into my town. I made a blog entry to try to deter myself from impulsively resetting, with the goal of making it to the T&T Emporium, a feat I never accomplished in the 2 years I've owned this game. But I'm determined.
Oh right of course I had completely forgotten! :O I really need to get back into playing more retro games other than just Tetris hahaha
I've never played Galaga. What kind of game is that? I myself am a huge fan of the original Tetris, I like it best on the gameboy. ^^
don't worry about it at all -- as long as you can forgive me for being the same lol (◞ ๑⑈௰⑈)
