I wish villagers chipped in more than they do. It seems really pointless for them to even put in those 200 or so bells when it means nothing in comparison to the total cost :/

I've never been too picky about town layouts, but I really want the one I get in New Leaf to be as close to my perfect town as possible (Really only want either apples or cherries as my native fruit >_<)

I perfer using my patterns for other things. I've never seen the point in making a main road in your town :/ but hey, that's just me
