    Who is your birthday buddy?

Mine is Octavian, not one of my top villagers but he's alright

A trick to increase your chances of getting a good/rare Nook Miles island!

I saw a thing where apparently if you wear the DAL shirt on your trips it increases the likelihood as well aha

Who's a villager you dislike but others love?

Bob!- nothing personal just find his design boring, Chief, Goldie,Rosie- Same reason. I don't understand the Raymond hype but If he turned up in my campsite or on an island i'd be tempted to get him just see what he's about aha

    Nooks Cranny CANT UNLOCK HELP

I think I unlocked nooks cranny after paying off my second house instalment? (i'm not 100% sure though) I also think you have to buy a lot of stuff from resident services! also pro tip: start getting iron now, i didn't and it took me ages to build aha

    Exchanging NMT?

Ohhh okay, Thank you! 1586343727 Omg, I've actually only just realised that 'nmt' stands for nook miles ticket not just Nook Miles- I thought people were exchanging nook miles to eachother aha

    Exchanging NMT?

This may be a really stupid question but how is everyone exchanging nmt? I've seen threads of people buying and selling in it but I'm unsure of how you give them to others. Is it through this forum or is there a way you can do it in-game? If the answer is obvious I'm going to feel really dumb...

    I refuse to sell villagers

haha I'm almost the opposite, I've always enjoyed getting villagers from other towns because they have memories, the way they talk about their old town, life etc (at least they did in NL, I'm unsure about NH) makes them seem more real to me.

What is one thing that you love about about New Horizons and one thing you hate?

LOVE how nice the graphics are in this game, the water, the sky, the villagers, the furniture- i love it. Not a big fan of the crafting system- aka not being able to craft multiples and having to put things into your inventory first- I just think they could've made it more fun and efficient

    Lost It's Charm

I think this must be something that comes down to personal opinion, I don't TT either, but I wouldn't say that I am bored with the game. I play about 1-2 hours a day (most days not all) and i just kind of chill, do some fishing, talk to some villagers, craft some stuff etc. Am i hooked on it...

    Lost It's Charm

I've been trying to put a finger on why I feel different about NH compared to Nl and I think this is why, I think quite a few people (me included) were quite a lot younger/kids when new leaf came out and for many it was their first game that really got them into the series. I'd say for the...

Who's creepier - Harvey or Zipper?

tbh I don't mind zipper, he's got a bit of weird face but I more feel bad for him than anything- Harvey however, I was NOT expecting his island to be a 6 bedroom photography suite with a casting couch and bright lights- did Nintendo know what they were doing?

Have you been loyal to your starter villagers?

I think i'll hold onto Biff for a while (he is growing on me), but Cherry can leave asap

    Playing without dreamies...

Yeah that's how i play too! Obviously I have villagers that i like and dislike but I kinda just let them move in and out as they please. I always used to stress when I first joined online forums because everybody else had 'dreamies' and I just didn't, but it's a lot more fun getting to interact...

What's the story behind everyone's island name?

Komorebi- which translates to 'sunlight filtering through the trees', I thought it was really pretty and in a slightly cheesy way animal crossing is like my sunlight in these scary times.

Anyone else already sick of the new event style?

To be honest, I don't hate the event- I'm still in the pretty early parts of the game and I have been able to carry on as usual without it interfering. It can be quite irritating to keep catching water eggs but they all usually share a common size so you CAN ignore them if you try hard enough. I...
