here's how I do it, I rolled the map until I had diana or beau or marina someone rare as my starters and then you get the town rating all that boring stuff done. when youre actually cycling you should go a day ahead and then a day back, some one will always ping that way. Also, once a villager has moved in a villager will want to go so thats when you should go a day ahead and then back ;o;. I can link you some guides/videos if its easier c:
