  • AC games don't have an end. Well I think after 2030 (GC) or 2035 (CF), the years reset, but you can still keep playing. It'll just display the wrong year after that. ACCF does have a lot more items/furniture. I'm not sure exactly how much more, but maybe close to double. The storage is another plus for City Folk. You can store 160 items total, while on GameCube you were limited to 3 items per dresser (and dressers couldn't even store furniture).
    Thanks. I like them about equally overall, but the biggest advantage CF has is online play. If judging by the 1-player modes alone, I'd give the edge to GameCube. I actually made a list of the advantages of each version here. But City Folk is still worth the money, so if you can find it for a decent price, you may want to go for it.
