  • yeah those are crazy at the end. plus Jav locked the thread for a minute to throw off everybody's timing before he re-opened it
if i luck into enough bells somehow i'll spot you the rest. plus, im sure people will be re-selling them down the road, they already have sold more shamrocks than ever sold of apples. also- on the TBT Market thread Javocado has a shamrock giveaway going, try your luck there
yeah i had 300 saved for a birthstone that i spent on it. i'm down to 26 bells, youre welcome to borrow it- how much do you need?

btw- i never noticed before, there IS a stock figure on that sales statistic pop-up i described. never noticed that before. i guess there are 317 total shamrocks theyre gonna sell tonight.

you should sell a villager or some in game stuff and raise the bells if youre a long way off. they said there will be random restocks next few days of it.
the only thing stocked right now is this brand new collectilble- the spring shamrock. (well aside from the ones that were already in stock- orange, pear, tasty cake).

none of the out of stock ones got re-stocked this time. ffr the only way to know how many get re-stocked is if you write down or memorize how many were previously listed as having been sold-- they never show a number stating how much has been added.
nice avatar! btw if you want you can go into settings and change the user title to whatever you want it to say...
when you see the Keep A Word Lose A Word game using food word phrases, that's usually a decent chance to link with the Food Name game thread by using a 2 word food name that works on both games...
i dont know how to explain it, i just see the combinations. like- instead of hot eggs ,you could have put Easter eggs to link with your entry on food name game... (btw what is "chicken shrimp?")
my day was not bad except i got bit my ants. yours?

heh, i havent had half the foods we list on those games! except the teas i have, and the spanish dishes probably
at Christmas they sold 2 kinds of gifts in the shop that you could buy with tbt. the 3 others were sold for snowflakes. the "Christmas catch" with all the gifts is you had to send them to somebody else or they wouldnt open. some people were selling them for TBT, which was permitted. the open gifts are not tradeable though. I dont know how Easter or Belltree Fair work re obtaining items.
there were guessing games, photo contests, scenes from your aCNL town, plus some artsy/crafty things. but they gave enough flakes just for entering so that if you participated in most all the events you'd have more than enough to buy at least one of each kind of gift. plus, people were also selling/trading the unwrapped gifts. the prizes for winning the events were the 'special snowflake' collectible that you see some people displaying.
yes, only this past one. they called it Jingle's Jamboree, and there were i think 8 or 9 different contests you could enter to earn snowflakes. then the snowflakes could be redeemed in the forum shop for boxed gifts. on Christmas day the boxed gifts opened to reveal all of the mittens and ACNL dolls you see in some users' line-ups. some of the threads may be archived at the Bulletin Board forum.

i think before last year, they held "Bell Tree Fair" over the Christmas holidays (where people obtained the patches, feather, and balloon collectibles). they said they may do the Fair this summer instead.
thanks again, I put all your painting on the side of the train station along with a surprise gift wrapped present for you today!
